The Aelfric Hall
The
Aelfric Hall is a stunning new contemporary function venue located in
the heart of rural West Dorset. Set within the grounds of the 15th
century manor house of Hooke, the Aelfric Hall is the perfect blend of
contemporary and traditional with its stylish interior and historic
setting.
At night the Manor House, trees and moat can be lit
up with lights and flares to give your function a particularly
spectacular backdrop.
The Aelfric Hall is ideal for parties from 50 to 120
guests. For larger parties a marquee can be added as an extension to
the Hall with French windows connecting the two areas.
14 acres of beautiful mature parkland are perfect
for taking a stroll, playing croquet and capturing those all important
memories of a perfect celebration. The newly restored lake and Willow
Island provide a stunning location for a moment of quiet
contemplation, as well as a truly magical spot for photographs.
A myriad of indoor and outdoor photo opportunities will ensure
you leave with a host of beautiful images of your special
celebration.
For that perfect ‘Country House Celebration’ guests
can choose to make the most of all of the facilities at Hooke Court:
the Manor House can accommodate up to 22 people and provides the
perfect focal point for a weekend long celebration!
